This is the online outpost for FABULOUS MAKEOVERS, an interactive beauty salon that provides the latest state of the art whitening treatments for teeth, nails, hair and skin.
Our service brings the best products available in the market to lighten the physical appearance of your body. We currently focus on giving treatments that are easy to use, so you can also do it at home, before you go to work, shop at the mall or for any social occasion where you want to be impressively white.

FABULOUS MAKEOVERS first opened in June 30th, 2006 as part of Illusion 4 at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts. Illusion 4, curated by Adrian Arias, is an annual interdisciplinary art project that brings together 40 artists in 4 hours to create interactive and performative artwork. This year, Illusion 4's theme was based on The Conquest - La Conquista. So, Fabulous Makeovers, born from the production of Illusion 4, is an ongoing artistic endeavor that wittily examines the consumer convention of the "beauty salon" with the aesthetic value of the "whitening effect". This effect refers particularly to the linguistic and scientific construct of "whiteness" that has been institutionalized in societies colonized in the past centuries by European scientific and cultural values.
